See a breathtaking theatrical collage that explores the complexity of identity and the human experience through the lens and voices of a community in crisis. In 1998, 21-year-old Matthew Shepard was severely beaten and left to die outside Laramie, Wyoming because he was gay. The Tectonic Theater Project conducted more than 200 interviews with the people of Laramie in the aftermath of the beating. Out of this came The Laramie Project, presented by Lakewood Playhouse Fridays-Sundays February 21-March 9, 2025.
