Experience the 120 voices of the Capital City Chorus Mixed Choir and Chorale! Capital City Chorus presents “Requiem” by Herbert Howells and “It is Happiness” by Joan Szymco at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Olympia Friday, May 3, 2024 at 7:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5 at 2:30pm. Free admission; donations gratefully accepted.
The Requiem is an a cappella work, only about 20 minutes in length. Its very intricate, gorgeous harmonies create an ethereal experience with a truly unique sound. “It is Happiness” is an energetic piece featuring a string quartet.
