Kids can watch a traditional Coast Salish wood-carving demonstration and carve their own keepsake out of soap at the Hands On Children’s Museum Thursday and Friday, August 28 and 29, 2025 11am-3pm. Session leader Andrea Wilbur-Sigo, a member of the Squaxin Island Tribe, is the first known woman carver of many generations of carvers and a master of many Coast Salish art forms.
