The Tenino Quarry Pool is open for the season on Saturday, June 21st, 2025 noon-6pm and coincides with the free Tenino Family Fun Day 11am-5pm, promising a day filled with entertainment, food, and activities for all ages at Tenino City Park. Youth aged 18 and under will receive free admission to the pool with a paid adult admission.
- Live Stage Entertainment: Featuring Reptile Rescue (11:30 AM-12:30 PM), Library Story Time (1:00 PM-1:30 PM), Prairie Steppers (2:00 PM-3:00 PM), and music by Bill Lenker (3:30 PM-).
- Family-Friendly Activities: Bounce houses, 4-H Petting Zoo, a dunk tank hosted by South Thurston Fire and EMS, and carnival games by First Presbyterian Church.
- Engaging Exhibits: A WWII Encampment Display with Friends of Willie & Joe, Model Railroads Display at the Quarry House, Operation Lifesaver display, and an exhibit from the Sons of the American Revolution.
- Community & Adoption Events: A Puppy Adoption Event by Caring Hearts 4 Paws, Reptile Rescue display, a Non-Profit and Vendor Fair, and a “Little Mermaid” photo opportunity with Tenino Young-at-Heart Theatre.
- Food and Refreshments: A variety of food trucks, and treats will be available throughout the day.
- Museum Open: The Tenino Depot Museum will also be open for visitors.
