Take a free gardening workshop! The the WSU Thurston County Extension Master Gardeners offer three workshops free to the public at Closed Loop Park Demonstration Garden Saturday, September 20, 2025. From 9-11am, you can learn how to divide peonies. From 11am-noon, learn how to use and maintain five basic gardening tools. At noon, it’s Organic Lawn Care for Fall and Winter – how to maintain a healthy lawn without chemicals or commercial fertilizer. No advance registration required, just show up.
