Event Details

How do we live in reciprocal relationship with Earth? That’s the topic of a multiple-session study group led by Lynn Fitz-Hugh from Thurston Friends of Trees at the Olympia Center every Wednesday from Oct. 8th-Nov. 12th, 2025 6:30-8:30pm. This is NOT a book group, but you will benefit from having read Braiding Sweetgrass by indigenous author Robin Wells Kimmerer, as the group will be working with themes from the book: reciprocity, kinship with living beings, gratitude, knowing our local eco system, examining colonialism’s legacy, the significance of trees, and the power of storytelling.
