Come join GRuB’s Growing Home Collective to celebrate Juneteenth, the holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved Black people in 1865 in the United States. Thursday, June 19, 2025 activities at the GRuB Farm in Olympia 3-7pm include a history timeline, art and storytelling, a farm procession with songs and music, and a feast to celebrate community ancestral foodways. Hosted by GRuB’s Growing Home Collective, which celebrates and uplift Black wisdom, community, healing, ancestral food knowledge and culture on the land. Open to people of all backgrounds.
