“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.” – Oscar Wilde
Lakewood Playhouse presents “Festival of New Voices” October 15-19, 2025, a festival of staged readings that showcase the diverse writing talent in the Tacoma area and beyond. The plays selected for the festival provide playwrights with the opportunity to hear their words presented aloud, and you are invited to share your feedback following each reading.
