Create art using nature’s cast-offs! Lynn Fitz-Hugh from Thurston Friends of Trees will lead a “Co-Creating Art with Nature” workshop at Squaxin Park in Olympia Saturday, October 11th, 2025 1-3pm. Use leaves, pine cones, stones, and sticks to craft temporary works of art. Inspired by the Buddhist practice of creating and letting go of sand mandalas, you will leave your creations behind as an act of non-attachment. Celebrate the beauty of the natural world and your own imagination.
