Learn the basics of pruning ornamental plants! The WSU Thurston County Extension Master Gardeners will offer a free “Pruning for Novices” workshop at Closed Loop Park Demonstration Garden in Lacey Saturday, August 16, 2025 9-11am. The workshop will cover methods of pruning for different plant types (trees, shrubs, multi-stem), pruning tools, different pruning cuts (good and bad ones), and the steps of pruning. Resources will be provided. No need to bring any tools. No advance registration; just show up. Free and open to all!
