The free Olympia Dragon Boat Festival is taking place on Saturday, July 12th, 2025! Watch as 20-person teams race each other along the Olympia waterfront in their massive dragon boats! While you’re checking out the festivities, you can learn more about the past and present of this incredible tradition when you stop by the Olympia Dragon Boat Club booth at the Port Plaza. Between races, create crafts with the Hands On Children’s Museum and enjoy activities from the Estuarium and the Puget Sound Shellfish Association. There will be local food, art, and performances throughout the day as well!
