Love bluegrass music? Then plan on attending the free We Love Rainier WA Annual Bluegrass Festival Friday-Sunday, August 25th- 27th in Wilkowski Park in Rainier. Friday, there’s an open mic at 2pm. Saturday, six bands will play at two shows: 2-5pm and 6-9pm. Sunday at 9:30am, it’s gospel music. Breakfast will be served all three mornings; Shyl’s Lunch Box providing opportunities for lunch and dinner; with a corn feed on Friday and Saturday nights. Rainier Round Up Day activities Saturday include a pie contest, a bake sale, games, and weiner dog races. The parade starts at 11am Saturday on Main Street.
