The Washington State Fair in Puyallup runs September 1st-24th (open daily except Tuesdays and also closed Wednesday September 6th). Aside from the big-name concerts, carnival rides, fair food, animals and exhibits, this is the year of tribute bands (free with admission), including tributes to Taylor Swift, Billy Idol, George Michael, Bob Seger, CCR, and Aerosmith!
