Whatever your favorite toy was, you’re sure to find it in the TOYTOPIA exhibition at the Washington State History Museum through June 5, 2025. TOYTOPIA will rekindle the wonder and delight of your favorite childhood moments through a hands-on interactive world of toys.
TOYTOPIA highlights include:
- The world’s largest Etch A Sketch
- A retro ’80s arcade with full-size cabinet video games
- A life-size doll house, with engaging play areas
- Life-Size Monopoly Car and game board; you can sit inside for a unique photo opportunity
- LEGO Play Area/LEGO Wall
- Giant Road Play Surface, a fanciful activity for all ages. Guests can create their own bustling city with railroad tracks, trains, cards and more!
- “Kinetic Toys” explores the science of toys, from Furbys to radiometers, plus magnetic interactive play walls.
- Schylling Tin Toys – See how tin toys are created out of simple sheets of tin
- Keva Planks, Lincoln Logs and Brain Teasers play areas.
- Large-scale versions of vintage games such as Battleship and Connect 4.
- Music in video games
- Huge electronic floor piano
