Tenino celebrates its past with Tenino Oregon Trail Days July 21-23, 2023 at Tenino City Park and all around town! Aside from arts/crafts & food vendors, there’s a music festival, the parade Saturday morning, and many pioneer-era demonstrations and activities.

Highlights include:

  • The popular Pioneer Village will take place at the Depot Museum with hands-on activities for families and printing of the wooden money.
  • Tenino Oregon Trail Days Rendezvous will have a primitive camping atmosphere, demonstrations, traders row, and other educational exhibits.
  • The parade will take place 10:45am Saturday.
  • South Thurston Fire and EMS will have their dunk tank and demonstrations.
  • Tenino Young-at-Heart Theatre will present Hunchback of Notre Dame July 20-23 & 26-29.
  • There will be open mic entertainment on the Quarry House Stage all three days.
  • The Rock and Gem show will take place near the Quarry House.
  • Tenino Timberland Library will have Brian Mittge and Kerry Serl, co-authors of George Washington of Centralia: How the Pioneering Son of a Slave Crossed the Continent, Founded a Town, and Saved it During its Darkest Hour, Thursday, July 20th 5-6pm.
  • Tenino Music Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday nights.
  • The Farmers Market will be open Saturday 10am-4pm and will hold their Blue Ribbon Pie Contest.
  • Creekside Conservancy will hold the Salmon Bake on Saturday.
  • Tenino #564 Fraternal Order of Eagles will have a DJ on Friday night and a band on Saturday night.
