Celebrate Tenino! The Tenino Area Chamber of Commerce holds the Oregon Trail Days Celebration at Tenino City Park Friday-Sunday July 22-24, 2022. The festival features the Bib Isaakson Memorial Black Powder Shoot and Traders Row; Rock, Gem and Mineral Show; Tenino Depot Museum Pioneer Village; Parade; Tenino Young-At-Heart Theatre production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”; food and arts and crafts vendors, and Creekside Conservancy Salmon Bake.

Antler jewelry, apple cider, making, blacksmithing, candle making, cedar post & rail making, cedar shake making, coal mining, corn meal making, corn planting, draw aw, Northwest Dutch Oven Society cooking demonstration, garlic weaving, gold panning, log cabin notching, log Cutting, making an axe handle, old fashioned toys, make paper covered wagon, pitchwood fire making, pounding railroad spikes, printing wooden money, stone craving, washing clothes with washboard, wood carving/whittling and Cascadian group portraying life in 1800’s. 43rd Gib Isaakson Memorial Black Powder Shoot Black Powder Shoot & Traders Row (at Park Ballfield). Black powder competitions featuring tradition flintlock and percussion cap lock rifles with loose black powder, patched round ball.
Saturday July 23, Public shoot 12:30-1:30pm. The public is invited to take a turn at shooting a rifle. Rifles and guides will be furnished. All ages welcome to shoot. $1 per shot.
Sunday, July 24, Candy Cannon will shoot Candy into the air for Kids to enjoy. (Park Ballfield)

Creekside Conservancy Traditional Salmon Bake, Saturday July 23, 2022 11am-4pm, in front of the Quarry House Tenino City Park. Enjoy delicious Salmon, potato salad, baked beans from the Chehalis Tribe and Lucky Eagle Casino. $15 per person, proceeds go to support the Creekside Conservancy efforts to provide safe and healthy habitat for flora and fauna.
Rock, Gem and Mineral Show- (next to Quarry Pool)
July 22 & 23 9:00am – 6:00pm, July 24 9:00am-5:00pm
Vendors will be selling a variety of rocks, jewelry, beads, gems, crystals, fossils and lapidary equipment for rock cutting and polishing. Demonstrations on how to make a variety of times with rocks, stones and beads.
