Play outside in May! Kids to Parks Day is a national day of outdoor play held annually on the third Saturday of May – May 17, 2025 this year! In Tacoma, Kids to Parks Day is more than just one day – it’s the entire month of May! Parks Tacoma has scheduled fun, (mostly) free events throughout May that celebrate parks and connect kids and families to the outdoors – nature and bird walks, hikes, a trail run, park clean-ups.
