Emily Dickinson and Dr. Maya Angelou – what connects these two incredible women poets and where do their unique sparks diverge? A new play, Still: A Poetic Journey of Two Women presented by Tacoma Arts Live at the Washington State History Museum May 11-14, explores these questions and more as the ensemble illuminate poems from these special authors. This new work is created in partnership with faculty from UWT School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences and will be presented in workshop form, with opportunity for you to offer feedback and shape the future of the play.
