For a festive evening of holiday music, the SPSCC Chamber Singers and Percival Choir will perform Comfort and Joy at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature works by Benjamin Britten, Alice Parker, Zanaida Robles, Camille Saint-Saens, and Enya. Conducted by Dr. John Guarente with Dr. Lorna Eder and Jennifer Hermann as accompanists, the concert stars both the SPSCC Chamber Singers and Percival Choir community ensemble.

On Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m., the SPSCC Symphonic Strings will join forces with the Jazz Band to perform Jazz & Strings. The concert will feature works by Carolyn Quick, Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock, Hubert Parry, Leroy Anderson, Mike Lewis, Miles Davis, Sammy Nestico, and William Grant Still. The SPSCC Music Department is excited to share these concerts with the community.

Tickets for both concerts can be purchased online at, in-person at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts box office, or by phone at 360-758-8586. General admission tickets are $15 and $10 for seniors, students, and military with ID. Admission to the concert is free for SPSCC students, staff, faculty, and children under 5. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and face coverings are required to attend.
