Celebrate the music of 1973 on its 50th anniversary! Sammy Miller and the Congregation, a nationally touring seven-piece jazz band, will perform the music of 1973 at the Washington Center in Olympia Sunday, October 8th at 7pm. Promising joyful jazz performed with infectious theatricality, Grammy-nominated drummer Miller and the Congregation are conservatory-trained musicians who have played all over the world including Lincoln Center, The White House, and the Newport Jazz Festival – where they received a standing ovation.
