The tradition of celebrating the British Queen in the Puget Sound may surprise some, but it is not a new one. The occasion was a holiday at Fort Nisqually in the 1840s. And now, the gentlemen and gentlewomen of Fort Nisqually Living History Museum plan to celebrate her birthday with cannon fire and Victorian finery Saturday, May 27th 11am-5pm.
