Chehalis-Centralia Railroad Pumpkin Train excursions are being held this year on Saturday and Sunday, October 16 and 17, and Saturday and Sunday, October 23 and 24, at 12:00noon and 1:30pm. Rides are approximately 30 minutes long. Children, as well as adults, are encouraged to wear costumes and masks and participate in the costume contest for all age groups under 15. After the train ride, Pumpkins, are ready in the pumpkin patch for eager children under age 15. The cost is $16 per person for the ride, pumpkins and a goody bag. Children 2 and under ride free. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Each ride is limited to 200 passengers in 4 train cars. Reserve your tickets in advance to ensure seating at SteamTrainRide.com. Click on Tickets. This ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad is a family fun ½ hour journey. The excursion through the Chehalis River Valley features coaches from the 1920s and provides both indoor and outside seating. The trains are unheated, dress appropriately. The train ride departs from the Depot located in Chehalis at 1101 SW Sylvenus Street, across from the Veteran’s Memorial Museum. Please arrive ½ prior to boarding. Free parking is available
