United Way of Pierce County is turning 101 years old! Help them celebrate by donating non-perishable food at their drive-up birthday party in conjunction with Hunger Awareness Month Friday, May 13, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They’ll have gifts for the first 101 people to arrive and music you can hear from your car. If you are unable to attend, you can make a monetary donation that will go directly to their goal of feeding 101 families.
We appreciate your non-perishable food donations to benefit Hunger-Free Pierce County food bank partners. We’re asking for any of the following items:
- Spam
- Peanut Butter or Nut Butters
- Chili
- Canned proteins (like chicken and tuna)
- Beans
- Grocery gift cards
- Please no expired food
