Event Details

The City of Olympia Park Stewardship Program is celebrating National Public Lands Day Saturday, September 24th with a fun work party 10am-1pm. Mission Creek Nature Park needs your help with environmental restoration! Remove English ivy and Himalayan blackberry from overtaking the beautiful trails. Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided. Street parking is available. We will meet at the San Francisco Street entrance.

For all work parties, please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle. An adult must accompany youth under the age of 14 and all youth under 18 years of age must have an online waiver signed by a parent/guardian. All ages are welcome! Please arrive 10 minutes early to park and sign in.
