The league will hold its Spring Luncheon, open to everyone, Saturday, May 17, 2025, 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Heritage Room in Olympia. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Maria Chavez, a renowned author and researcher, and Chair of the Political Science Department at Pacific Lutheran University. She specializes in American government, public policy, Latino politics, and racial and ethnic politics—timely topics in today’s political environment.
