The Master Recycler Composter Program of Thurston County is hosting two free workshops on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Closed Loop Park Demonstration Garden next to the Waste and Recovery Center in Hawks Prairie. From 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be a workshop on yard waste composting and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. there will be a workshop on worm composting. Come for one or both! Workshops are free and open to the public. No advance registration is required; just show up.
