Learn the basics of food and yard waste composting! The Master Recycler Composter Program of Thurston County will hold a free workshop on food and yard waste composting at their Dirt Works Demonstration Garden behind Yauger Park in West Olympia Wednesday, June 11, 2025 11am-12:30pm. Topics include what should and shouldn’t go into your compost bin or pile, tips on managing your compost, and how to know when it is finished. Workshop is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required; just show up.
