WSU Thurston County Extension Master Gardeners will offer free gardening workshops Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Closed Loop Demonstration Garden in Hawks Prairie. From 9am-10am, learn how to care for coral bells (heuchera) and find out why they’re all the rage in Europe and Asia. 10-11am, the discussion will focus on the basics of dahlia division and care. The workshop 11am-noon will focus on the propagation of peonies by dividing them. Finally, from noon-1pm you’ll be provided with a hands-on experience in propagation techniques of sedum plants. Bring your own garden gloves. No pre-registration is required for these free workshops.
