The City of Lacey’s Community Workgroup on Homelessness invites the public to participate in a virtual open house through Monday, March 1. Participants can visit the online open house any time during the 2-week period to learn about topics related to homelessness, share insights, and provide input on what they think the Workgroup should include in their homeless-response plan.

The online event will mimic an in-person open house with stations on various topics related to homelessness, including conditions and causes, housing and shelter, addiction and mental illness, income and employment, resources and community connection, and community impacts.

Following the open house, the Workgroup will incorporate the community’s input into the next phase of their planning process. It will help shape the Workgroup’s recommendations for goals and strategies for the Lacey community, specifically.

How to Participate

Interested parties can access a link to the Open House on Homelessness in Lacey at ci.lacey.wa.us/CWH. While visiting the open house, participants can freely browse the information and materials. However, they must register to provide input.

In addition to participating in the virtual open house, community members are encouraged to learn more about what the Workgroup has discovered so far by watching the subject-matter expert, speaker series webinars at ci.lacey.wa.us/CWH.
